A little background: My original engine blew a head gasket, so I had to have it rebuilt. Well, I couldn't drive it anywhere so I had to have a shop down here around Ft. Bragg do the work. Well, that lasted about a year, then about 2 months ago BOOM!... My engine threw one of the rods. In between the big problems there have been many smaller things go wrong. To sum it up....I've have one thing after another go wrong with my engine. The rod was the icing on the cake. I decided to take it down to Z1 (Keep personal feelings to self) and get it fixed right so that I can quit throwing money away on things just for them to break again right after. I had a low mileage engine, stock rebuilt turbos, down pipes, and test pipes all put in while it was down there. Well, I just went and picked it up on Saturday and I thought I would give Z1 some overdue credit. These guys really do care about their customers and proved it to me personally. They were supposed to close at 5, but Russell and one of the mechanics there stayed until 9 to make sure that everything was perfect on my car before I left. I will do business with them again many times in the future. Rarely do you see anyone that really cares anymore and for them to willingly stay there after close to take care of a customer shows a lot about there business. The car is great, stronger then ever and purrs like the VG should. I would strongly recomend them for anyone needing anything done to their Z. So, Thank You to everyone down at Z1. And for all those smart a$$es out there, NO THEY DIDN'T PAY ME!
